ac777
Looking for advice on a trip to one of these three destinations. I know there is fish to be had at all 3 just looking for current updates on them and why one would be better that the other, I've been to all 3 more than once, just gotta pick one now. Would be leaving from SW MN area if that helps out at all, Thanks.
metrofisher7
My vote is Rainy purely because Rainy is my favorite lake on the planet. No matter what you will catch fish on all three so just pick one.
Fish Head
I've never been to Oahe, but I've been to both Rainy and LOTW this month. I LOVE both of those, but my vote would be based on what part of LOTW you're thinking of. If you're thinking about the NW Angle, I would go to LOTW. I was there a couple weeks ago and had a great trip! If you’re thinking about the south shore of LOTW, I would probably pick Rainy. Nothing against the south shore of LOTW... but Rainy has a good bite going, it's very scenic and with all the islands you can always find a spot to fish. Good luck and have fun! ac777
Thanks for the replies, we actually decided to hit up leech this year. Will be our first time on this lake, and is closer to home, so it should be a great trip to get away for the weekend with the family.
