Hay Creek

BIG

Recommended Posts

Big,
Not sure what is hatching right now but you could stop by Stuarts fishing co.(I do believe that is the name of it)on old west main and maybe pick up some good info on stream conditions. A good place to access Hay creek is just south of Dressin's on hwy 58. If you are heading away from Red wing it would be the second and third roads to your Right that offer good fishing spots(after passing Dressin's saloon).

Trico's are hatching now. I would defenitly stop at Stewart Fishing Company and talk to Brian Stewart. I believe that he knows that creek better than anyone else out there. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Big,
Nope. I tell ya people don't konw what there missing out there. Both days out fishing I got close to wildlife. The first day we got about 10 yds from a group of mountain goats and the second day I got about 20ft from a Bighorn sheep! We got some really great picture. Later!

Big,
The Montana trip was great, caught alot of nice fish. Unfortunatly I didn't get out as much as I wanted, spent alot of time relaxing.....lol. I fished the Clark's Fork and Crecent Lake on top of Hellroaring plateau in the Beartooths. Later!
