Briggs and Stratton carb

I have to replace the fuel tank and carb on my 5 HP horizontal Briggs. I found a couple on the internet but they were for 3.5 HP's. The pictures look alike but it's kinda tough to tell from a picture. So, my question to yous guys out there is will the carb from the 3.5 HP work on the 5 HP???

it should... is the carb the long type where you pull the choke out at the end under the filter? ill go take a look at the broken carbs i got laying around

i do believe that the carb will fit on the motor but the gas tank holes might not line up with the bottom hole by the oil drain.. if you can it would be best to get some measurements just to be safe.. just cerious why do you need a new carb??

This motor is on one of my kids mini-bikes. There was a pretty nasty wipe out and the carb body is cracked.
