best line? for a 6'2" cabelas XML with a shimano cititca baitcaster?

wondering what type of line to use, like powerpro for spinning rods, i dont use baitcasters to much, would like to know what casts the best

I dunno how one would ever contemplate the "best" of anything.

However, for mono, I like Berkley Vanish Transition or plain old Berkley XL.

That said, I do have spools of Fireline, PowerPro, and now one of SpiderWire XXX SuperMono.

Can't really answer your question. I use my baitcaster/levelwind reels for trolling because I can't cast them.
