Most of the pics I have seen are of rivers, flat bains like Milacs. How would this unit work on a lake that is full of structure> The kind where the front of the boat is in 12 feet yet the back end is in 40 feet of water? I fish Ottertail , Clearwater plus many other lakes that the bottom changes drasticly every boat length. Thanks

It's actually better with more structure. At least the images are much more entertaining. I have been on clearwater lake with it and it worked very well. With basin lakes it is usually kinda boring. One thing, Rocky humps/points are easy to see the rocks but it makes it much more difficult to see fish when there are so many rocks. We actually marked fish and then caught a fish in 3 FOW on clearwater on opener.

I live in delano and usually fish wright county lakes. If you want to connect to check out the SI that would be OK. Some of the best images you can get will come from rivers cause of all the debris like trees etc. Especially when the river is high. But cool images are not needed. Finding fish and fishy structure is.

Thanks!, I will look you up when I return. I really do not care which unit I see, I just want to see the SI in person. I am haveing trouble comprehending the L side R side and so on. Thats where you come in, to try to explain in more detail what it's all about. Then prehaps see if we/you can catch that lil fishy we see lol
