I don't understand how you are getting the common yellowthroat out in the open like you are. I can hear them, but they always seem to have foliage between them and the lens. Especially the males. Nice!!!

Birdsong, I have a place where some of the small trees have died off and there is thick underbrush. They love to sit just above the underbrush in the dead trees and sing.

Lucky you! And you use the opportunity well. The catbird and vireo appear to be sporting mohawks. I hear that is all the rage in the bird world this summer. Love the vireo.
