replicating antiques

so... i just got a request from a quy, he wants me to replicate on of his antique lures. i have yet to see what the lure is. but does anyone have any tips on making the replication look like the actual lure?

like where would i order the hook hangers and stuff like they used in the old days, and all that. i know some just have metal cups that go into the lure then the eyelet screws into them. but i have no idea where i could order any of that hardware.

any help would be greatly appreciated, he is the first guy thats actually paying me to make a lure for him, so i want it to be good

would really depend on the lure.. let us know when you know what lure it is, and maybe take a pict.
