I know that there is only a handfull of lakes that you can bow fish using light at night and I know that it doesn't start untill june. But my question is does the same rule apply to rivers and dams? I think it does but i am looking for a final answer.

cant give you a definete answer on that, but as of august 1st, those rules will no longer apply anyways; there will be a new set of rules in place.

There are no rivers on the current night list. After August ist rivers are okay EXCEPT where city ordinances resrict weapon discharge.
