Red ink stain removal?

I didn't really know where to post this so I thought I would see if any of you ladies might have a remedy. I ended up drying a bunch of jeans with a red pen that broke and splattered ink all over and I'm having a tough time getting it out. Anybody know of a good stain remover tactic? I bought some stain remover but it doesn't work the best on the lighter color jeans.

spray and wash advanced, it takes stains out of clothes that have been there for many washing and drys. My shirt seems to catch something from every meal so I swear by it.

Is that a brand of stain removal? And where can I get it? I went to target but they didn't have much but I didn't look super hard. Stayed in the laundry section.

Try spraying the spot with hairspray till it is pretty wet, then press a towel to the spot. Don't rub just blot real hard, repeat as needed. Then rewash the garment.
