Does anyone know about Meriden fire arms guns i got a model 6 .22 it must be 100 years old got it for a wedding gift from the father inlaw

Must be a rare gun if no one can tell me anything on it? I cant even find any info on the web about it

I have been digging around and Meriden was bought out by sears to make guns for mail order (montgomery wards and sears) according to Wikkipedia. Gun broker had one but it was a model 10 single shot, is yours a single shot or pump? On Wikianswers, they gave the value at 25-75 bucks. There has to be family history to this firearm, I suggest you get it from the horses mouth, build a black walnut display case and place the firearms in the display case with a red felt background. and of course post pictures of it when you are all done

Thanks for the info this gun is a model 6 single shot .22 its a very small gun.
