Quiksilver to Amsiol

I would like to switch to Amsoil.Has any tried it I have a 2002 Merc 90horse and she smokes a lot at Idle and I was wondering if Amsoil is the way to go.

YES!! Draw down your Quicksilver, then add the amsoil and don't look back!! You will see a major reduction in smoke, and definitely less fouling of your plugs...

Worth every penny to switch...

Just did the switch yesterday. If you do a search on this FM there was a thread about a month ago with the same ?'s. I have a 98 merc 90HP that is really cold blooded. Seems like it mixes too much oil with the gas. I ran it for about 10 minutes to get the fogging oil and some new gas and the amsoil in her. Hard to tell a difference so far. I will post an update after the weekend when I take the boat out on the water. If you motor has an oil resivior then use HP Injector.
