Love My ATV!

So I had a long week at work last week and was looking forward to a relaxing weekend at the cabin. I was dead tired when I got there about 10:00 Friday night, only to find that we had about 11" of wet, heart-attack snow covering the road in. I was able to get through it, only to find there were also 2' drifts covering our driveway. I could see my sanctuary through the trees, but couldn't get to it.

Our driveway is about 400' long, I had a bunch of stuff to unload and I didn't want to leave the truck in the road. So, exhausted; I walked up, put my boots on and fired up the ATV. Within 30 minutes I had the driveway cleared, the truck was unloaded and I was sitting in front of the fire with a cool beverage.

The next day I went out and within 2 hours had the entire 1.5 mile stretch of road cleared, as well as the neighbor's driveway. Besides a truck, there was nothing that could've cleared that heavy snow.

Not only was I able to enjoy the much need relaxation I had been craving, but; with the warm weather we had, the entire gravel road and driveway were drained of runoff and dry by the time I left.

It's easy to take them for granted, but situations like this really make me appreciate my machine.

We all have stories like this - Just thought I'd share this one.
