DonBo
Just now having coffee watching the birds at my feeders and a pair of cardinals come in for some moring seeds. Well my sunflower seed feeder is snowed in and the birds got kind of frustrated looking for breakfast and left. I'm going to shovel my way out and clean them out, again. Hope you all do the same. (Probably DeeDee won't have too )
Birdsong
Yes, Sir!!!! Actually I went out before feeding the dog or myself this morning as there was a flock of at least 25 hungry siskins as soon as the sun was up. With 14 squirrels, however, I'm not sure the feeders would stay covered in snow very long. My dog has become the 15 pound squirrel deterrent. Loves to go tree them all. She stands guard at the patio door all day. The birds don't even wait until she is back in the house before coming in to the feeders. I think they would bring her a Christmas present if just one of them could qualify for a credit card.
