kingr
I searched through the old posts but I couldn't find the info. My buddy wants to buy a double bull. He would like to sell his Ameristep Outback to me. He's never bow hunted out of it, which is what I would do. i looked at the specs and it 48" square. Does anybody have one of these and bow hunts out of it? Or is 48" too small to draw back in??Thanks
deerminator
It can be done but its difficult unless you have a short draw. My Doghouse is that size and its sole purpose is for mobile WMA hunts. If you want a blind for more regular use, I'd try a larger hub style blind. metrojoe
I bought an Ameristep Powerhouse blind this fall and it worked great for bow hunting. Plenty of room, easy to set up, and it was only $40 plus shipping.
theiceman
Portable blinds are great, but if you can make a real one out of your surrounding tree you'll be better off.
