walleyeslammer
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has ever used cedar for the frame for your mods. It is lighter than standard pine which also may not weather well, and it is a lot lighter than treated pine. Just a thought I was having in between plans for a mod
polarsusd81
When I get around to doing mine I plan to use Cedar for the riser. I have an older trap guide that is only about 4" deep for the sled. It is lighter, and I love the smell of Cedar.
BoxMN
I think a lot of people do overkill. I think cedar is a great choice. Plan the structure and you can use lighter thinner stuff. And I am a fat guy
PerchJerker
I used cedar for part of the mod I did, for the same reasons you're talking about.
