Rusty choke

I have a rusty choke and i would like to get it back close to new if possible any good tips????

rusty choke tube? or the threads are rusted?

outside threads are rusted on the choke itself...but I found my can of dub d thinking that was the most effective way

yea, at the start and end of a season my threads tend to get rusty and I clean them. Also, I have put that anti-seze stuff on the threads and it helps alot.

Outers makes a grease made for threads and gun hinge pins. Clean yours good and put a thin layer of grease on it. Then it won't rust, and your choke tubes will never sieze up in the gun.
