Has anyone been out to Two Harbors break wall yet?

Is there still ice on Superior? Around the Breakwall harbor in particular? I'm thinking of making a trip up there in the next week or two but only if the ice is gone. This a pretty good time of year for that spot?

I've never fished Superior before, any suggestions for Lakers and/or coho? Or any species really that may be present this time of year? What about local streams/rivers? Really just want to get into some fish, doesn't matter what. Thanks!

Maybe stop in at Marine General in Duluth and see what they say, pretty sharp bunch of guys there and enough tackle to max most credit cards.

I've ran out of the Two Harbors marina a couple times, nice launch.

I think they charge $5 if I remember right.

Maybe try one of the Great lakes forums and see where and what to try for.
