charcoal sales?

Memorial Weekend typically has the best sales on charcoal for the year, and I try to stock up. Not seeing much this year.

Anyone know of some good sales on charcoal going on now?

Royal oak 18lb bags are on sale at menards for 4.98.

I prefer kingsford but haven't seen any of those on sale besides at target I think but had a limit one one bag.

I just got a flyer from Lowe's. They have 2 20lb bags of Kingsford for $10.00, limit of 2 per person. 80 lbs for 20 bucks is a pretty good deal. This weekend only.

Walmart has two bags for $6.88 or something like that right now. It was cheap and we stocked up for the summer!

At Stuffmart the other day I picked up a two pack (2 x 20 lb.) labeled for $8.95. When rung up they came up as $18.95 for the two! I explained they were labeled in the aisle at $8.95, and with no questions asked they gave me the labeled sale price.

I just saw an ad on TV for a single 20 lb. bag for $9.95! Maybe they rang up correctly? I'm shocked that charcoal has gotten so expensive. It's only charcoal for goodness sake.

Lowes has Kingsford charcoal on sale- a two-pack of 18.6 pound bags for 9.88, limit two two-packs. Sale is good thru 7/8.
