mrklean
Has anyone golfed around the Vail CO area heading out there early May, will they even be open that early?
ted4887
I can't say anything about Vail, but if you have a chance you should try playing the Omni Interlocken in Denver. Honestly, it was one easily one of the nicest courses I've ever played. If you can get on, do it! We stayed at the Omni and got the entire teaching package. It was 3 days of fully instructed 1 on 1 golfing. But just getting on for a round at the Interlocken would be worth the day in Denver. Dave S
I'd be surprised if it's not under snow in May. My first trip (not golf related) to CO was in July about 12 years ago and people were still snowboarding between Granby and Estes Park. Antero
For whats it's worth right now we have approx 50 to 60 % of our usual mountain snow. The long range forecast for more is not good. We need it, there are already some fires starting. I was at the dog park today and it was 73 degrees. January 23, shorts weather.Pack your clubs.
