paul pachowicz
well, we got to our hunting area (Harding County) in pea soup fog and freezing drizzle Wednesday late morning and a few inches of snow on the ground. Made for some sloppy getting around. Same thing Thursday morning. It cleared out in the afternoon but, nothing doing. Finaly, Friday morning we got 4 and another one in the afternoon. Saturday we took two deer does and called it quits. The number of goats is really down and all does were dry. We saw very few kids but, on an encouraging note, we did see a good number of both mulies and whitetails. We purposely did not fill the nine goat tags we 3 fellas had. Gotta leave some seed stock ya know
DonBo
Good job Paul, thanks for leaving some of those goats for the rest of us. I know just what you mean about the weather... It may take 4 or 5 washings to get all that mud out from under the truck.
HNTNBUX
DonBo don't forget the inside rims on your tires that mud sticks to everything and can throw your rims out of balance.
