53orbigger Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 It is not only possible, but it is quite easy. I just finished doing the very same thing. I will warn you though that if you put the deck on top of the front 2 seats it does make the boat a bit tipsy, but if you are by yourself it is not much of a problem. I used 1/2" plywood wrapped in I/O carpet and reinforced with a couple of 2x4's. It fits in fairly tight and is not attached to anything, so at the end of the day I just take it out and store it in the garage, so that it is not constantly exposed to the elements. The most difficult part of the project was getting it to fit the curvature of the boat right. What I found works well is to take a piece of cardboard and make a template with it and then transfer that to the plywood.53orbigger Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
