Gas Gauge

I have a Lund 1660 Classic and have noticed that sometimes when going accross the lake the gas gauge will peg full and stay there for awhile. Anyone ever had this problem or know what could cause this?

Yes.. it's pretty easy... the hardest part is pulling the floor up (4-8 floor screws in the middle of your boat) and pulling it out, finding a replacement and putting everything back together. There's not too much to it.
