Walleye #1
This might seem like a stupid question, but I have just moved to the state. In MN do you still have to fill out an application to get your deer tags, or can you just go and buy them like you can in Iowa?? If applications are the way can anyone tell me when the bow and muzzleloader deadlines are? Thanks for your helpWalleye #

simplefish
you just go and ask for one at a sporting goods store or a wal-mart. depending on how long you have lived in mn you may have to get an out of state lic. you can get tags all throught the season and before. if you get one during the season you have to wait for 2 days i think before you can use it. i hunt with bow myself, the opener is Sept. 14 and goes to dec. 31st. as for muzzloader: i think it starts on nov.30 and end on the 15th of dec. to know for sure just go to a wal-mart or sporting goods store and pick up a rule and regs book for hunting. hope this helps.i don't believe there is an application, there isn't for residents anyway. you can get tags throughout the season and before it i didn't mention earlier.[This message has been edited by simplefish (edited 07-22-2003).]
