Benelli SBE

Thinking of picking myself up a Benelli SBE. Anyone have opinions one way or the other on this gun. How about barrel lengths 26" vs. 28".

Go with the 24" barrel even and you wont regret it. When i started out i had a 28" barrel and was under the impression that the longer the barrel, the farther you could shoot.. well i grew up a little when i bought my benelli and got the 26" barrel, and now i wish i had gotten a 24"! keeps the pattern just the same, and its lighter, and easier to swing.. very good gun- go with the benelli.

I think he s right. THey say as long as it is over 22" it holds the pattern the same as a 28". The only thing that is different is that you can swing the shorter barrel faster and some people have trouble with that. I my self like the 26". I have shotguns with 26&28" and I always goi back to the shorter, as for the 22" I wouldn't be afraid of that either!
