givetoget
when I first bought my truck, you could unlock it and turn the lights on from a good distance. Over time Ive had to get closer and closer. Now its to the point where im standing right next to the truck to get it to work. I have changed the batteries twice but did not change anything. Is the remote bad? Is there a reciever thats dirty ? Any ideas Thanks

Jeremy airjer W
The higher you hold the remote the more range you get. I know for a fact that holding the fob at waist level and holding the fob at chin level will dramatically increase range. My saturn is the same way. If I'm holding the remote at waiste level I have to be right at the car. In the morning when its at the end of the driveway (all down hill) I can unlock it from the back door (about 30 feet).
