Okay, neither the power lock nor the key will lock the rear barn door on a 94 Suburban. Being the key doesn't lock it either, I figure it's not electrical, but just in case I sanded and cleaned the contacts where some corrosion had built up for the power lock. Sprayed a bunch of wd40 on the mechanism, still no go. What's the next step?

One of the linkages/mechanisms in the latch assembly is in the partially "open" position. If they are in this position it will not let the latch lock or unlock. Usually they are either rusted up or in the case of the ford explorers and rangers they have broken return springs.
