i just rigged a new one on a boat, and cant get the light to show up. I have it on, and the background is white, but you can barly see it, and its up to ten?

Is the software updated? I think it's 4.51.

I just checked my 917. I have Version 4.51 and my sensitivity is set to 10 also. You might also check to make sure it's set to the right transducer.

someone else had a simular problem like this on a different fishing HSOforum. They fix it by holding down the info key while holding on the power key. They had a hummingbird 595. Hope this helps.
