first sign of spring

I managed to get out last Saturday, for a drive on a lovely spring day,, saw a few beaver up on the ice,

and a Canadian Goose

I really like the goose photo. The reflection really makes this one stand out.

It is interesting to follow the migration from northern Iowa up into Canada through this and the bird forum. (Not that beaver migrate.) Nice photos. I like the goose reflection, as well.

I actually like the beaver. Hard to catch them in good light where you can see them like that.
