aahhh!! thank you again for the posts everybody,, I am at home now and not able to read them,, got supper to cook, and git ready for my last night shift,, (where I'll read and respond to these posts :-)) have I mentioned I love my job? lol

wow, alot of great responses here,, about wolves and my fears ,, lol

as for the pepper spray,, as I said I used to geocache a fair bit, and was getting worried due to our Spring Bear hunt being closed, and the bear numbers sky-rocketing, so I called our MNR office and asked for methods of bear deterents,, I mentioned pepper spray, they strongly suggested I NOT do that,, because the pepper spray will also take me down too,,

I mentioned my dog, he said that bringing your dog out will work for a while, but he said that after the dog chases the bear away, the bear will overpower the dog, and end up that the dog comes back to me, with the bear right behind it, directly to me!! lol (not a good thing)

I have mentioned a shot gun, but was denied that.

I have a loud horn that I bought last year,, it'll stop anything, I'm sure.
