2001 Chevy Silverado Horn Issue

When I lock my truck, the horn will honk, but when I try to honk the horn from inside the cab I get nothing. Does anyone know why this is? Is there a fuse that controls the horn function??

maybe the sensor under the steering wheel? just a guess

Either that or the button on the multi function switch that makes contact with the back of the the steering wheel has worn out or broke.
