Morels of the Great White North

[Timber Donkey]

Hello all, I am a transplant to the Duluth area from the cities and I am wondering if anyone finds morels this far north. I work in the woods so I figured I would stumble on some this past spring/summer, but I must have missed them if they were there. Any help would be great.

Welcome to FM timber. Ya I plan on hunting for some this year too. When I was a kid, we lived in Vermillion SD and every year we roamed the Missouri River area for them tasty lil buggers. I know they're around, you just need to look for the key areas and keep your eyes peeled.

I am sure they are up in your area, we have them and we are 200 miles north of you, As boatfixer mentioned they are tasty lil buggers.
