Dog proofing chain-link fencing

I wanted to use the shotgun but she likes the dogs too much.

One was able to slip under the fence.

Any way to secure and/or tighten the bottom to discourage them?

In the past I've put concrete pavers under the fence so they couldn't dig out. I've also used treated 2x6 lumber buried on edge under the fence. This also gives you something to secure the chain link too so the dog can't squeeze under it. The last fence I put in I dug a small ditch under where I was putting in the fence. Set the chain link so the bottom of it was at the bottom of the ditch and then filled in the dirt. Soon grass and weeds grew around it making it harder for a dog to get out. It will be a bugger to take out when the time comes.
