I am laid off from work right now and I think it would be great to head up and help out with sandbagging efforts. Anybody want to share the ride up there?

I will look into places to stay, maybe a hotel or two would be willing to give free rooms for volunteers.

I am not sure exactly when I would be able to head up, but kinda thinking head up tomorrow or Wednesday morning. Maybe staying two nights and then coming home on the third day after a shift of bagging efforts.

I think the job searching could be put on hold a few days to help people in great need.
