Marcum VS560 Fuse

Hoping someone can help me out on this. Was out last weekend and the Fuse went on it. Fuse is on the Positive Connector to the Battery. Did a McGuyver and used Foil from Smokes. Lost the original Fuse and tried to replace it. No luck as the two I tried are too long. Anyone know what the Fuse name is and how many Amps?

PS Can't find my Manual either. In real good shape. Plesse help and thanks in advance !!

Interesting.

I've owned a few different MarCums and don't recall any fuses.

It it did blow you really don't want to substitute a fuse with foil.

Marcums draw a little under 1/2 and amp. I know you can get AGC Glass Fuses starting at 1 amp. Radio Shack would be the place to find that short fuse.

The Cameras do have a fuse, I have blown a few on them and if you get the wrong amp then you blow up the camera. I have a dead camera right now because of that but the flashers do not have any fuses in line with the power connector.

Ok its a camera. I'll change the topic from LX5 to Marcum VS560.

Current draw with lights on is 800 mA. Go to radio shack or any electronics retailer and pick up the fuse. If anyone knows what amp fuse(I don't)please post. Otherwise if it were me I'd start with a 1 amp.

Thanks for the replies. I also sent an Email to Marcum Customer Service and got a reply back. It's is 250V 5 Amp Fuse.

Wasn't too sure if I could get info back as Nature Vision discontinued that Camera when they took over Marcum.

Once again thanks. Good luck and stay safe on the Hardwater !
