Warmer weather is predicted... What is everybody doing this weekend??

The weather man is predicting really nice warm weather compared to what we have been seeing for the last while.

With that in mind what is everybody thinking about doing this weekend? Anything special or just chillin??

Johns on vacation but its still busy out there. Still no clue what they are catching. And yes I'm getting off the couch and 1 last trip after perch for my birthday. Was supposed to be at Red Wing this weekend but blew my fishing trip money on 2 new muskie baits. Helped a great cause though, helping send a Vet to LOTW for a few days muskie fishing. I think they deserve a fishing trip more than me.

Sounds good. I should be around somewhere sometime tomorrow. no plans have been made as of yet but Im thinking i'll be heading back to where I was last weekend the last hour before dark and continuing after dark have been very good and the fish have been very aggressive. give me a call maybe we can GTG one last time before the lakes open up.

Fished Spirit most of the day on Friday. Slow compared to the last couple of trips. Managed several nice ones, but not the March Madness I was expecting. Nonetheless, a gorgeous day to be out.

We are officially done for the ice season. Several other items on the agenda both this weekend and next, so by then I'm sure it'll all be over. It's time to turn my thoughts to turkey season and open water. There were people still driving on at Crandall's beach, but we took the 4 wheeler. Even at that, the shoreline was getting soft when we left at about 6:00. Good luck to all of you still out after 'em.
