jig eyes

just wondering of all the people out there bother with putting eyes on there cast painted jigs. Eyes or no eyes and prefered methods of applying.

eyes are proven fish getters on jigs for decades. they can be stick on, paint on, dot on anything and they work. i coat all my jig heads in 2 part epoxy after eyes. only time i avoid eyes on the jig head is if i put them on the collar.

Using jigs at night, eyes are not needed, Northland tackle fireball jigs don't have eyes either. The only time have seen where may have made a difference is in very claer water. Like whisker on the moss rat, for bass. The fish could care less.
