yes but the premeuim oil i am talking about is john deere synthetic just not amsoil. so i still get the benefits of synthetic oil just not the amsoil name. is there much different between oils?

Not going to get technical at all on this, but the oilman had a very detailed post a couple months ago about how most "other" synthetics are just a blend of dino oil which really isn't that great of a benefit. Where amsoil is a different concept of lubrication. see like I said not very technical. Check back a few pages and you should have a good read.
