My first year since 1977, trapped the first month, then had to stop. Alot of work to do, plus I don't like thin ice. Then things froze-up, Fishing took over. Caught lots of rats, no mink or coon. Had my 8yr old son out, when he had weekends with me. His mother and Grand-mother did'nt like it, cruel they say, "I told him this is what people have done since the 1700's. It grew the United States." "Trappers set the paths for others to follow." How did others do?
