Murphy Hanrehan Bowhunting

I just moved down to Lakeville last fall and Murphy Hanrehan is butted up against my back yard and I was hoping to be able to bow hunt back there. Has anybody hunted here in the past? Or do you know who to contact to be able to hunt back there?? I'm under the assumption that it's a special permit kinda deal.

You need to go onto the Three Rivers Park system on line and down load the forms. Its a lottery type deal, but unfortunately they tell you if its your first year applying you can forget about getting a permit.Your best bet for hunting is Minnesota River Valley.

Applications need to be post marked before Sept 9th for the Three Rivers Park District hunts.

Thanks guys! I contacted the Three Rivers Park district and they informed me that they give out 180 permits per season, it is a three day hunt and there are usually between 550 and 600 people who apply. She also said to get my application in and it would get me in the system but it would take two to three years before I got my chance to hunt in there. So if anybody else is thinking about doing this they should do the same steps mentioned.
