bow wanted

Hi, my son wants to learn to shoot. I have no problem finding a reasonably priced bow for him, but I cannot find a pre-owned bow for myself. I am looking for a RH recurve with a 35-40 lb pull. I hate to invest too much in case it is not what he thinks it will be. any advise or bows for sale would be great. thanks.

Check HSOList for good deals on used recurves. There are usually several on there to choose from and the prices are usually pretty reasonable.

have you tried the cabellas magazine?? i would check it out. i am not sure of your price range but PSE kingfisher ( more of a bowfishing recurve but will work fine for whot you want) is a good bow at a good price. you may even be able to get a few cheap prong rests at the local bow shop that ae used that someone may have traded in for a newer one.
