It's the big day for college football, when high school kids can sign letters of intent. I see the Gophers landed a surprise by signing Michael Carter, a four-star cornerback from Florida and cousin of Tyrone Carter. Ra'shede Hageman is another solid Gopher recruit that should be a great player if he doesn't add too much weight.

Sometimes Brewster's "Rah-Rah" attitude seems a little over the top, but I give him credit by taking some nice steps with recruiting. He got most of the in-state talent to sign this year. He also focused on getting recruits at positions that definitely needed upgrading, including the O-line. Add Marques Gray, Sam Maresh, Matt Carufel, Kim Royston and Spencer Reeves to next year's team and it looks like a definite improvement. Anyone else want to comment on the Gopher signees?
