Walleye bite is on Winnebago.

Last two days have been pretty good for eater sized walleyes. Also Caught and Released a fat 24". Nice to see some good sized fish in the lake. I am happy to release such fish as we all SHOULD do!

Fish are coming on reefs with a jig presentation. Lots of people are trolling and bobber fishing as well.

BTW...Winnebago is set for a fantastic Smallmouth fishery in 10 years, as I have caught lots of 8=10" smallies in the past few days. I forsee this lake as having a terrific potential for a FANTASTIC smallmouth fishery in the next 10 years assuming we all keep practicing CPR.

Good luck to all and the algea is slowly decreasing!!!

Bite for me was mid morning. No need to get out early.
