otter team wild canvas?

Been thinkin about trading in my old fish trap and getting a new 2 man flip over...I was wondering how the canvas on the new otter team wild houses were. Comparable to fish traps? Looking to spend less than 300 and the 2 man otter seems like it would be perfect,but I don't want to get soMething if its not gonna last!any other options in that price range? Thanks

i have one and i like it havent been cold in it yet this year! this is the only one i have owned so i dont have much to compare to but in my mind its perfect for what i do

The one on the floor at FF Oakdale doesn't look like it's holding up too well. Couple of rips and it looks kind of thin. Kind of surprised me cause I think they are a pretty nice house for the price.

I like my Team Wild 3 man. Very roomy and my luck this year on almost every outing has been wind Some strong wind and it has held up very nice. I almost thought it was going to blow apart one time on ML, but it held together nice

I own the team wild two man version, bought it last year around christmas. In my honest opinion you get what you pay for as far as the canvas, it just isn't as durable as the regular otters. On the roof of mine the stitching is starting to come apart, but with some patching can be fixed, but still. I'm not too familiar with the fish traps but by comparing them to the wild houses inside the store the canvas seemed pretty similar. If your going to be using your house alot and want something that's going to hold up to abuse, I'm not sure if the team wilds are the right choice. However, for $299.00 you get a house, bench seat(very comfortable) and sled cover and that is by far the cheapest house for the money. The team wilds are definately the best bang for your buck, but may not necesssarily hold up to the abuse that regular otters or canvas crafts will. But if you take good care of it and aren't careless with it i think you would be happy with a team wild.
