Just got home!!!

We had a great trip, we stayed at Woodland Resort for 4 days.. First class place, honest info and very helpful staff.. We didnt get a guide, but the guides there pointed us in the right direction... I seen them in the cleaning house every night and holy [PoorWordUsage] these guys catch some monsters! We didnt catch any monsters but we did have steady action for the whole trip..

Our best action was out on Military Point, out away from most people in 54ft of water, 2 days we limited on nice walleyes, only 1 perch in 4 days & some really nice stripers throughout...

We threw everything in the box at them, and by day 3 we had all rigs setup with silver/yellow pimples with either a head or whole minnow it didnt seem to matter... We also weighed 2 fish at the tourny using the same rig, but didnt win anything ...

On a side note: Woodland has huge fatheads, I read somewhere that people were having trouble finding big minnows...

The last 10 years i have spent on LOW I have gone to devils lake 4 time this year and came away impresed. Last weekend i finally got into perch in 22 ft of water in front of the dome house from 2 pm untill dark.

its on the north end of the main bay,where the towers go across the lake
