Happy customer!!!!

Just finished a refinance on the home last evening. I have to admit I was at first scared to to buis with Peter(Fisherdog19) who is all the way across the state from me. And for those that know me, I get very nervous about money issues all the time.. Peter made it great.. So easy, painless!!! and in the long run, going to save me a ton of money!!! I never had to leave my house. Got to meet another FM member JackpineRob, who came to my house to sign at the closing.

You want to talk about service!!!!

Thank you Peter and Rob, it was a pleasure!!!

It was a pleasure Deitz, and I'm glad everything went so well. You and your wife were great to work with and everything worked out seamlessly, I wish all my loans were this easy. It seems as if 95% of my clients that are FishingMN members have great credit, good jobs, and lots of equity; it must be a fishing thing laugh

It was pleasure to meet with you Dietz, and I'm glad you were pleased with how things went.

Home loan closings are the biggest financial commitment most of us will make, and being nervous about the transaction is understood by all of us who deal with the consumers.

From my experience dealing with Peter's outfit, these folks have their heads screwed on the right way, and make things as easy as possible for not just the consumer, but also those of us downstream in the process.

Wish I could have gotten to your house a little earlier so we could have relaxed and chatted a bit more. Maybe we'll have to get together for a little fishing after the State Ski Meet is over.

I want to post my recommendation for Peter before this post gets old or interest rates rise.

We're working through our refi process right now. Peter and his team are doing a great job. My better half works through the details of our finances (due to her professional background)and I know when she's happy with professionalism and expertise. I also know when she isn't!

Thanks, Peter, for your great work so far--I'm confident the closing will be managed well too.

Thank you all for your kind words, it's my pleasure to have such great folks to work with. We work hard to make things go as smoothly as possible and I'm a firm believer in disclosing EVERYTHING in advance so there aren't any surprises. I want to thank everyone for the business, and trusting me to handle such an important transaction even though I'm not close to you geographically. We are licensed to lend in 49 states and I have closed loans in approximately 30 states so far, my goal is all 50 so I'm over half way there.

Been meaning to write this for some time but got busy with work. Thank you Peter and JackPineRob for the smooth transaction. My wife and I are both very appreciative of all of your efforts on our behalf. I am continually amazed (I know I shouldn't be) at the quality of people that are regulars on this site. Thanks again. Paul

Just wanted to bump this to the top.

We closed last Friday working with Peter and Rob. It was a super easy transaction. I would have never figured it would go so smooth. I highly recommend them to anybody looking to refinance. They take all the worries out of it. A+ for these guys!!!

Thanks for the recommendation, it was great working with you and helping you get several things done with one transaction. I just want everyone to know that we do purchase loans as well, they acctually tend to go more smoothly than refinances.

    • Truly sorry to hear that duffman! I know that feeling.  Keep the good memories
    • Chamois passed away this weekend a couple days short of her 13th bday. What a great dog to hang out with here at home and on distant adventures. Gonna miss ya big time my little big girl.
    • Sounds pretty sweet, alright. I will check them out, thanks.
    • If you really want to treat your wife (and yourself) with a remote operated trolling motor, the Minn Kota Ulterra is about easy as it gets.  Auto stow and deploy is pretty awesome.  You just have to turn the motor on when you go out and that the last time you have to touch it.   24V 80lb.  60 inch shaft is probably the right length for your boat.  They ain’t cheap - about $3k - but neither one of you would have to leave your seat to use it all day.
    • Wanderer, thanks for your reply. I do intend for it to be 24 volt, with a thrust of 70-80. Spot lock is a must (my wife is looking forward to not being the anchor person any more).  With my old boat we did quite a lot of pulling shad raps and hot n tots, using the trolling motor. Unlikely that we will fish in whitecaps, did plenty of that when I was younger. I also need a wireless remote, not going back to a foot pedal. We do a fair amount of bobber fishing. I don't think I will bother with a depth finder on the trolling motor. I am leaning toward moving my Garmin depth finder from my old boat to the new one, just because I am so used to it and it works well for me. I am 70 years old and kinda set in my ways...
    • Dang, new content and now answers.   First, congrats on the new boat!   My recommendation is to get the most thrust you can in 24V, assuming a boat that size isn’t running 36V.  80 might be tops?  I’m partial to MinnKota.     How do you plan to use the trolling motor is an important question too.     All weather or just nice weather?   Casting a lot or bait dragging?   Bobber or panfish fishing?   Spot lock?  Networked with depth finders?  What brand of depth finders?
    • We have bought a new boat, which we will be picking up this spring. It is an Alumacraft Competitor 165 sport with a 90 horse Yamaha motor. I will be buying and installing a trolling motor,  wondering if I can get some recommendations on what pound thrust I will want for this boat?  Also, I will be selling my old boat, is there a good way to determine the value on an older boat ( mid-80's with a 75 horse 2-stroke  Mariner motor)  I will appreciate any help with these questions.
