Lowrance XOG

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Lowrance XOG.

Currently I'm using an H2O when ice fishing to find spots with the sled. But the problem is the screen is so small. I'd like to have a larger screen to see the trail/waypoints. Looking on the net I can use it w/lakemaps on ice then use it like the I-way, tom/tom or garmin nuvi in the truck/car.

Dual purpose?!

Do a forum search on Lowrance XOG. I know I saw a posting/thread about an XOG not long ago (maybe a month or so ago). They were talking about what a great unit the XOG is and about the lakemaster mapping, etc.

I think it is a pretty good unit for the $$$$ spent. I am interested in getting one myself. Hope this helps.

i am thinking about getting the XOG and i have a h20 now

i really like the turn by turn navi and it will be able to use with my chip
