Is a 265/75/R16 tire comparible to a 31" tire? Or what is it in inches

Acctually works out to 31.6/10.4/16. 265 is the width in mm and the sidewall is 75% as tall as the width.

is there an online calculator,or a conversion chart for this?i always mix everything up.lol i know my tires are 305/75/r16 and thats 33x12.5 and 315's are 35's.

Not that I know of but mm X 0.0394 = 12.017"

305/75/16 is 34.02/12.017/16

315/75/16 is 34.6/12.41/16
