Yet another Lowrance network question

propster

Question

Similar to questions you've answered in the past - if I have a LCX20 at the console with transom transducer, and the 332LMS is at bow but they are hooked together, can I get depth and water temp from the rear unit/transducer, or do I need to run a separate transducer to the bow unit? And is there a way to have icons set on one unit show up on other relatively quickly, besides occassionally transferring the data now and then?

If the units are networked together you should be able to display the depth and temperature readings. Look in the overlay data menu. You won't share the sonar display, only a digital reading for the depth.

One of the software updates enabled waypoint sharing, you need to turn it on and when you set a waypoint in one unit it instantly appears in the other unit also. It works for waypoints only, it does not work for icons.
