Griggs, I'm not sure what you mean by set up, if your referring to my equipment I use a 30D and a Canon 100-400 mm. If your wondering how I set up for the pictures in my yard I built a tray feeder that is about 3 feet long and maybe 6 inches wide. When I want to shoot some of the feeder birds I take down all of the bird feeders in my yard and put this tray out. I set it on a saw horse so I can move it around easily and its up off the ground a little. I have more control of the scene that way. Next I attach whatever perches I want them to land on and make sure the backdrop isn't too close so I get the blurred background and start firing away at the birds.
