Busted on/off switch on jiffy whitehead 3 hrs

busted off the on/off switch on my jiffy an was wondering if you can replace it? where can you get one OR.... can you simply disconect the switch an just choke out the carb or pull the spark plug to shut it off. Thanks boar

Jiffy wont be able to help you out because they don't deal, in anyway, with the engines

Go to a auto parts store with the Model # on the engine and they should help you..or an authorized Tecumseh dealer

The Garden Hut in Grand Forks is listed as an authorized service center. That appears to be the closest one to Red Lake Falls.

It's just a regular toggle switch, any parts store carries them. Just take the cover off and replace it.

Thanks guys, after looking at the switch an taking it off , I saw it's easy to replace but just needed to know where I can get one. Thanks again boar

Take it out and head down to the local hardware or auto parts store. If it's like the one on my old Strikemaster I'm sure they will something that will work. No need to spend a lot of bucks on it.
